They kept trying withdraw more then 100.00 money was not there but my bank kept allowing every day at 29.99 charge 3X. Now im overdrawn.. I had to shut paypal down could not get person on phone waited over hour. Then got message due to covid they were not taking calls. It would have been nice if i was told THAT INSTEAD OF MAKING ME HOLD AND WASTING MY TIME.Told bank to stop payments from paypal. Cancelled paypal which stinks because I use alot. WOULD BE NICE IF MY BANK HELPED. IM THINKING TO CHANGE BANKS LOCAL

We've decreased our USAA presence- switched to GEICO for insurance (I'm a 37 year USAA member) and moved the vast majority of our money out of  USAA- we did this largely because USAA has become a partisan politcal organization and partly because they've become dishonest, unhelpful, and sometimes deceitful. Our main account is now with a local bank and we couldn't be more pleased: no more waiting through interminable menus to finally get a customer service rep who is merely reading from a script and sometimes can't solve even the most simple problems, and often gives erroneous advice.

 

USAA no longer exists to serve members, its purpose is to exploit them for profit and politics. By all means, leave USAA and find a local bank- you won't be missing anything!
