The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund’s (VVMF) “The Wall That Heals” 2018 tour kicked off in early March with a redesigned look and perhaps more importantly, feel.
At one-half the scale of the actual Vietnam Memorial, the traveling display delivers the Memorial experience to veterans and their families who may not be able to make the trek to Washington, D.C.
Part of that experience includes new wall panels allowing visitors to find loved ones and trace their names just as they could at the actual wall.
The Wall travels across the country in hopes of bringing healing to veterans and their loved ones and acts as an educational tool for younger generations, and a reminder to all on what it means to honor the lives lost in the Vietnam war.
The complete tour schedule and more about the VVMF can be found here.
