USAA, the Official Military Appreciation Partner of the San Diego Padres, recently teamed up the Padres and the San Diego USO to help kids wish their military mom’s a special Happy Mother’s Day. In the heartwarming video linked below, military kids spend the day creating Mother’s Day cards (with the help of some of the Padres players) as well as sharing thoughts about their moms.
Seventeen-year Navy wife, Marla was in attendance with her military kids and had this to share: “The USO/Padres experience was amazing. My son is a huge Padres fan and to get a one on one conversation with players was a dream come true. The USO, USAA, and Padres are incredibly generous to the San Diego Military Families and we are so grateful.”
During the Padres home game on Mother’s Day, USAA and the Padres will honor all military mom’s in attendance, thanking them for all that they do for their families.
