The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Hiring Our Heroes (HOH) initiative launched in March 2011 as a nationwide effort to connect veterans, service members, and military spouses with meaningful employment opportunities. Working with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s vast network of state and local chambers and strategic partners from the public, private, and non-profit sectors, the goal is to create a movement across America in hundreds of communities where veterans and military families return every day.

Make the Connection: Meet with hiring managers and HR reps for national veteran and military spouse ready employers at a career fair. Not ready to apply for jobs? The hiring far is also a great place to start building your professional network.

 

Career Workshop: Explore different industries and career paths through a variety of career planning workshops. Plus, hear expert tips on evaluating and negotiating pay and benefits.

The Hiring Our Heroes Career Summit will visit San Antonio, Texas on July 25-26, 2019. With the main session on July 26th at the Rackspace Global Headquarters, attendees will be able to connect with military-ready employers and make professional connections needed to grow their network.
