As we close out this week, we wanted to raise awareness and commemorate Gold Star Remembrance. This Sunday, September 26th, the Nation observes the 85th Gold Star Mother's and Families Day.
A Gold Star family member is someone whose loved one passed away while serving the nation. This week recognizes the families of all military personnel who died either while serving or due to service-related connected injury or illness.
