Happy Birthday to the US Navy from Navy Spouses

*Updated October 2020*

This year, the U.S. Navy celebrates its 245th birthday. This isn’t your stereotypical Happy Birthday Navy post filled with pictures of nuclear-powered submarines or ordinance loaded F-18s (although I do enjoy those as well). The Navy has some amazing accomplishments this year, but I wanted to take time to celebrate some of the less publicized moments in Navy life. I asked fellow Navy spouses to share memories they thought symbolized the Navy and Navy Life. I was overwhelmed with the response. To kick off the US Navy’s Birthday, I am sharing some of my favorites this month in Community.
