How’s this for the title of a financial readiness workshop: A Diva and Her Dollars. That’s the tasking that Ginger Miller, the founder and CEO of Women Veterans Interactive gave me a few months ago. Initially, I was a little concerned, but I need not have worried. Everything worked out perfectly. I settled on a Diva being a savvy woman willing to chart her own path to financial security and from there it was smooth sailing.
The event was a big hit and while I hope the financial readiness workshops were helpful, the powerful message that these women Vets heard repeatedly was inspirational: “Use your voice and say yes to opportunities!”
