BaseFEST visits Fort Bliss, Texas – Part 1

There was a big music festival recently at Fort Bliss, Texas as BaseFEST Powered by USAA visited the Sun City. Thousands of active duty military, family members and veterans attended the giant music party. Check out the photos below for highlights of the event.

A BaseFEST attendee tackles one of the NextLevel challenges USAA had to offer participants at the Ft. Bliss, Texas event on May 12. Along with the musical performances, BaseFEST attendees can expect to find gaming, sports and fitness, a kid’s zone, technology, virtual reality, food and beverage, lounges and more.

 Members of USAA’s Sponsorship team are boots on ground to assist in the set up and running of BaseFEST Ft. Bliss.

A couple relaxes in the prestigious USAA lounge that was open to all attendees to get out of the hot sun at BaseFEST at Ft. Bliss, Texas on May 12.

 

Lee Handy, CSM USA (Ret), Military Affairs Representative (El Paso) and Greg Pratt, Force Master Chief USN (Ret), Executive Director Military Affairs Operations host the USAA tent, welcoming guests/members to BaseFEST at Ft. Bliss.

An Army veteran serving both on active duty and the reserves, Craig Morgan recently returned from a USO trip visiting and playing for the troops. His song, “That’s What I Love About Sunday” hit #1 in 2005. Be sure to make plans to check out Craig Morgan and the other artists at the next BaseFEST.
