I'm hoping a community member or USAA employee can provide guidance to this small business owner. Here's what I want to send to the right exec at USAA. Just have NO idea who that might be:
------------PROPOSAL TEXT --------------------
AUTHENTIC Personal Branding online courses with private coaching support USAA FOCUS AREA: Fulfilling Careers for Veterans and Spouses
The unique AUTHENTIC Personal Branding for Military Veterans and Spouses VIRTUAL TRAINING experience supports the National Focus Area of Fulfilling Careers for Veterans and Spouses with these In-Scope tie-ins:
During the ongoing covid-19 pandemic, we’ve seen career fairs cancelled on college campuses, servicemembers in their initial transition left with uncertainty, and many jobs being lost. The online training we’ve always delivered online and in person has suddenly become very urgent for many military members, veterans and spouses.
We seek guidance on WHO at USAA can entertain this proposal to have USAA SPONSOR this unique, professional development ONLINE training for transitioning service members (as you would sponsor conferences or sessions at conferences in the non-pandemic world.)
We are a USAA-member, woman veteran-owned business seeking a business relationship with USAA, not charitable support. We are NOT a 501(c)nonprofit organization so we CANNOT use the USAA online system for charitable contribution proposals portal as seen here: https://usaa.versaic.com/login
AUTHENTIC Personal Branding for Military Veterans and Spouses is available via LIVE, VIRTUAL 60-minute workshop (limited to 20 students) using Zoom video conferencing. The group training is followed by 20 minutes of private coaching for each student.
Objective is for each member to CRAFT a unique personal brand - this is NOT a lecture about branding.
The training pairs transition service members and spouses with a woman veteran with deep marketing and branding expertise.
EACH and every student CRAFTS their new, targeted brand, assisted by the workshop facilitator...ready-to-use on their LinkedIn platform, small business website or a cover letter...
depending on veteran's target audience and career objective.
Retail cost is priced very reasonably at $119 per student for the 80 minutes of training.
We see a strong synergistic partnership with USAA – the company can sponsor seats of this virtual training during the 2020 pandemic and beyond, connecting transitioning service members and spouses with a member who’s a veteran and marketing and branding expert trainer and entrepreneur…while supporting USAA’s NATIONAL FOCUS AREA: Fulfilling Careers for Veterans and Spouses.
Who is the right executive at USAA to entertain this proposal? Can anyone help?
Hello @ Captain Mama, I'm glad to help. You can complete a Sponsorship and Advertising request on USAA.com for your funding request, you can skip over the charitable and nonprofit support section as you mention this doesn't apply to your business. On the USAA log in page (before putting in a login ID and password) please scroll to the bottom of the page. In the bottom blue banner you will see 'Corporate Info and Media'. Selecting this link will take the merchant to a page where there is a 'Sponsorship and Advertising' link. Thanks for reaching out. -Paula
