I was injured in the line of duty. I was on probation at the time. I worked for 7 months in the pain. Worked after PT. Scheduled all my dr apts around work. Day before Thanksgiving, my agency told me they will not be retaining me after probation of 12-4-14. They knew the severity of my injuries. So now, I can no longer be a police officer. My agency tossed me out like a piece of garbage. Talk about kick a man while he's hurt and down.

I am so sorry to hear about this in your life.  I have been in situations where doors slam shut, but somewhere, somehow, there is a door that will open for you.  My prayers are with you.
