Try G4S Secure Solutions. There all over the place. Starting pay is 10/hr.....but wherever they put you it can be more. Some place are 15-17 the hour.

Also, I heard recently that there are some programs for Veterans who wish to get trained in several emerging fields such as Solar Energy.
