I was looking in to buying or leasing a new car and used USAA for help. So sorry I did.  They provided my personal info to local dealers (which I knew would happen), and I have been innundated with texts, phone calls and emails.  It was so excessive and invasive that I decided to stop looking for now.  Today I replied to one of the many emails from a dealer, explaining that this aggrressive response had convinced me to abandon my search.  He responded that he would not stop contacting me.  I will not be doing business with any of these three dealers, whose strongest skill is proving that their bad reputation is well deserved.
