USAA Car Buying Service Results Not Matching What I Entered


I tried the car buying service today to get an idea of which dealers in the area had the specific make, model, trim package, and color I wanted, and approximate price.


What I got was emails and phone calls from three dealers. The emails sent me "results" including all models, trims, and colors in their inventories. The only thing that matched was the make and the model.


Why does the service ask you to specify if the results don't match up?
