The motor of my 10-year-old Toyota blew up last week. The repair shop said the car needs a new motor or I should buy another car. I like the car very much and have had little trouble with it. But then I wonder whether it is cost efficient to put a new engine into a 10-year-old car.
After an engine or transmission swap the car will never be the same. After one year the engine will go out again. Sell the car on craigslist like it is and buy cash another car. Listen to Ramsey on the radio!
