So I needed a windshield replacement and contacted USAA.  Did not think I had coverage and I was right.  Referred to Safelite who qouted me a "discounted" price of $450.  Checked six other places.  All but one was less expensive.   Had it done for $300 - OEE glass, lifetime warranty, everything included.  Is this really the best USAA can do?

Typo... OEM glass

@ ataglance,

USAA strives to provide the best service and products to our members and hearing this is disheartening. We appreciate your candid feedback regarding your glass claim, and I definitely want to have you situation reviewed further.  I have escalated your situation to our team who oversees Safelite, and they will be reaching out to you to address your concerns.   ~Mike

Same here got quoted about half of what my deductible is for a windshield replacement from other than Safelite.  Safelight wanted $500 deductible for a windshield I could pay cash for from another company without the insurance for $260, when I questioned it they transferred my call to USAA I got disconnected and they never followed up or got back in touch with me in any way.  I ended up canceling my claim.  It isn't the first time Ive had problems with USAA insurance but will probably be my last.  I am currently shopping for new insurance.
