Disconnect in Car Buying Service between responses and reality

For the past week or two, I've been trying to find a pickup claim to have several specific vehicles that match my request, but when I call they don't answer the phone or return my messages, and when I email they always write back saying they don't have the truck that they claimed that they did initially, no matter how quickly I get back to them. Is there any way that I can avoid this frustration?
