My wife and I are both wheelchairs and desperately need a conversion minivan. With credit not on the best side due to early retirement, prospects are looking dim. We are looking at used vehicles with a 2017 odyssey touring elite as a trade in. Being a long USAA member we were wondering what if any suggestions you might have.

@Birdangel, you may wish to check out the USAA Car Buying Service. The Car Buying Service enables members to perform many consumer functions prior to making an auto purchasing decision. Features and benefits include:

  • Find the best vehicle:
    • For a new car (current, previous or next year model), members can build their car to include preferred options.
    • For a used car, members can query the used car inventory of area participating dealers.
  • Gather safety, performance and technical information for most models.
  • View Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) and in most cases for new cars receive an Estimated Price and Estimated Savings or a Target Price for the vehicle.
  • View the manufacturer's incentives for new cars available exclusively to USAA members.
  • Calculate the value of a trade-in.
  • Submit contact information to the USAA preferred dealerships.
