I'll say this in response to your issues. That really stinks, but I've financed BOTH my houses and all my cars through USAA and never had an issue. They've always made the process extremely efficient. Not everything can always run smoothly and exactly as you foresee it. Not sure I agree that after having that one issue, albiet important to you, that you sum up USAA as unreliable in a nutshell...
