Where and when should I buy a vehicle? I am moving back to the US in June 2020 after living overseas since 2012. In July 2020, I plan to start a new job in Hawaii. I don't own a vehicle and I have heard it's best to buy a vehicle in mainland -- vice in Hawaii. I'll be staying in the Philadelphia, New Jersey, Delaware area between June & July before moving to Hawaii.
