@Skymedic, Great question! Usually the electronic lien process for release is 24-48 business hours. Florida is an electronic state, so once the loan reflects a zero, we issue an electronic release to them, and they receive that within 24-48 business hours. Other electronic states automatically start the process of getting a paper title generated to mail to you, but Florida does not automatically send out a paper title; all they do is update their electronic record. If you would prefer to have a paper copy, you can request that the title be printed directly with the Florida Department of Transportation, and that can be done on their website (http://www.flhsmv.gov/html/emt.htm), or in person.
