What is this W9 form?  I look it up in internet and it states its for people who have a bussness? I only have a saving and checking. Don't understand this. I have other accountson on other banks and they have not request this form. Can you explain??

@noahjay, thank you for contacting us regarding the W-9 form. The Tax Certification W-9 is a required form that certifies USAA reports the primary account holder's correct tax identification number to the IRS for all payments such as earned interest over $10 in a year or promotional credits. For your convenience you may electronically sign the document online by selecting your individual checking or savings account. The tax certification form will automatically appear.
