In the SF Bay Area TV market, there are a large number of USAA insurance advertisements. There are so many ads that I am tired of seeing them, and I tune to another channel when they come on. The ads are repetious and annoying even to me, a 50 year plus USAA member. They are a waste of money and makes one wonder why so many ads are being presented to this market.
I have questioned the need for extensive ads in the civilian and sports markets. It is an obvious attempt to extend membership well beyond what has historically been the defined eligibility limits. USAA management is wasting money with an excessive advertisement budget in an attempt to enlarge the empire that has been established over the past several decades.
