My USAA accounts no longer are syncing with Personal Capital. Is there a fix/solution for this? Thanks.

It is a continuous issue over the past year and a half. I am lucky if USAA will synch once every three months. It is frustrating to say the least to have a money magagement system that cannot connect to your primary bank, thus nullifying the benefit of the system. Last time I turned in a ticket it took over a month for it to update my USAA accounts again on Personal Capital. It updated all of three times before May 18th being the last time my many USAA accounts have been updated again. Instead of asking your members to open a ticket, how about you communicate with your security team how important it is to your many customers that this connection is important to many valued customers and to do what ever it takes to maintain connection between the two financial entities or lose business? You put the onus back on your customer in your response. As the customer, I would argue USAA Customer Service should not only open the ticket, communicate the concerns, but also create a process to assure the issues finally stop and synchronization remains uninterupted!

I'm sorry for your frustration and inconvenience this issue has caused you. I will ensure to share your feedback with our Member Feedback Teams. In the meantime, please continue to contact Website Support at 877-632-3002. Thank you! -Cynthia

I am having the same issue. My USAA accounts only update once every few months. Very frustrating. I have enterd help tickets with Personal Capital too and they don't respond. All my other accounts update no problem but USAA has been a continual issue.

RockyMountain, we can certainly understand how that can be annoying! We recommend to contact our web support team at 800-531-8722 (say web support in the menu when prompted), and you can speak with a specialist to see if this can be fixed.  ~Jen

USAA support replied to my support ticket. They said they do NOT support Personal Capital syncing. They only support Quicken. Very odd considering USAA is an investor in Personal Capital. Hopefully Personal Capital get resolve this.

I can honestly say nothing has caused me as much frustration and grief as this issue. As with everyone else, for over a year I have only had three updates and it is only after I open tickets on Personal Capital. It has caused me to invest less money into USAA accounts and seriously considering moving my banking since the main benefit of Personal Capital is asset management and visualization. I cannot enjoy this benefit because I have seven accounts, including checking, savings, brokerage, and multiple IRAs. It is impossible to see what I want to see because for whatever reason USAA is refusing to play nicely with others. I do not care why they do not want to allow me to choose how and what applications I use for financial management. I only care that they are the only bank who does not. I have CDs with Ally, Goldman Sachs, Capital One 360, Barclays, and retirement accounts with Lincoln Financial and Transamerica. My PHH mortgage and even federal student loans will update without any issue, but then there is the pain in my tail USAA consistantly being the only problem with Personal Capital. If the federal government can support the link, why in the world can't USAA?????

I'd also like to see support for personal capital access.

If RockyMountain's support response that USAA only supports Quicken (presumably this really means Intuit, since TurboTax is definitely also supported) is still true 9-months later...

it's pretty disappointing, and makes me wonder if some sort of contract between USAA and Intuit forbids USAA from supporting non-Intuit personal finance management.

@kdonn, I appreciate you taking the time to provide your suggestion. I will share your interest with our banking team. -Paula
