Can you transfer funds to another members account?

@Army#25, Yes, you can transfer funds to another member's account. I recommend using the Send Money with Zelle service. You can enroll in Send Money with Zelle by following these steps:

  1. Launch the USAA Mobile App on iOS or Android device.
  2. Locate and Select the Transfer or More option.
  3. Select Menu (iOS) or the "+" sign in lower right corner for Android.
  4. Select the Send Money with Zelle option.
  5. Select "Ok, let's get started".
  6. Select "View Documents (PDF)" link to view the Send Money Service Terms of Service.
  7. Select Close in the upper left corner.
  8. Select the checkbox to indicate agreement with Terms of Service.
  9. Select Submit.
  10. Follow prompts to select account for sending and receiving funds.
  11. Follow prompts to register a mobile phone number or email by choosing one from the list or selecting Other and manually entering the desired mobile number or email address.
  12. A verification code will be sent to complete the registration process. 
  13. Enter the six-digit security code in the space provided and select Done.

I'll follow-up with additional instructions for processing the transfer. ~DC

@Army#25, You can send money from the USAA Mobile App by following these steps:

  1. Select Transfer > Menu (iOS) or Transfer > "+" > More (Android) from the Home screen.
  2. Select Send money  with Zelle.
  3. Select Send
  4. Select the recipient to send funds to. You can add a new recipient by manually entering the recipient's first name, last name and email address or mobile number OR by selecting the Add Recipient button and then selecting the Select from Contacts button. The device's contact list will populate, and you can select a recipient.
  5. Enter the Amount.
  6. Select Review.
  7. Locate the Review & Send screen and complete the following:
    1. Enter a note on the "What's this for?" line, if desired. The note will be viewable by the recipient.
    2. Select the Send button at the bottom.
