My husband and I are in our sixties and near retirement.  We would like to reduce the number of credit cards we have - some we do not even use or haven't used in several years.  We do not need the credit we have on these cards and they have no balance.  Some of these cards have an annual fee and we aren't using them.  Any drawback from doing this?

Hey Shelly15, I  can understand the apprehension in closing accounts that have been opened for a while and I will be happy to reach out to our financial advisers to have them look into this inquiry for you. ~Michelle
