How to cancel lost debit card and activate replacement card?



Hi @Bull13, Sorry to read you have a lost debit card. The functions your seeking can be done on or the mobile app. I will provide instructions below. Thank you for reaching out in our Member Community with your questions. ~ Suzy


From My USAA:

  1. Locate the account associated with the ATM/Debit Card.
  2. From the I want to drop-down, select Report Card Lost/Stolen/Damaged.
  3. Select Checking or savings account ATM/debit card.
  4. Select I lost my card or it may have been stolen. Report it and send me a new card.
  5. Select Next.
  6. Follow the prompts to report a lost or stolen ATM/Debit card.

or if you just need to activate the new card :


From My USAA:

  1. Locate the deposit account.
  2. From the I want to dropdown, select Activate debit card.
  3. Follow the prompts to activate an ATM/Debit card.



@Bull13 the mobile app instructions are similar. Select the account that is linked to the debit card and there will be a menu of options. Hope this is helpful. (=   ~ Suzy
