How do I place a stop payment on any and all requests for ACH withdraws for that merchant until I am able to resolve these issues?

In disagreement with a merchant about a recent rental car agreement and incorrect charges on my account. The merchant’s customer service keeps telling me 3-5 business days before anyone will review and contact me about the dispute. I want to make sure they don’t try to charge me until then
