Does USAA plan on doing anything to help Coast Guard active duty members who may not get their next paycheck(s) if the government shuts down this evening?
Something I read on another thread said we would be contacted by 12/26 with a plan if the government was still shut down, but it was not clear if that is for everyone or just select few.

I'd like to know as well.  Many people keep posting that "the military is going to get their pay" but that's only true for DoD services.  US Coast Guard is not funded.

Yes, and this waiting unt 12/26 to hear anything is frustrating when Navy Federal has already taken a stance. It is hard to enjoy Christmas this year.
Your dedicated customers are asking you a question and for help! Even if you don’t plan on taking a course of action, it’s appreciated that you let us know so we can plan a course of action.

Agreed. Navy federal has a plan already in place to help their members. Why is there zero information on Usaa doing the same?

Shame on USAA for not extending the same courtesy and consideration to the Coast Guard during the shutdown.  It should not matter whether they are DOD funded or not.  You will get your money back eventually.
