My wife received a check from in laws that has her name on it only. We dont share a joint account but she wanted to see if I can deposit the check even if my name is not on it?

@sca94 your wife can sign over the check to you for deposit. Please endorse the check as follows:

line 1 - Originator's signature

line 2 - Pay to the Order of (Account holder's name) 

line 3 - Account holder's signature

line 4 - For deposit only (Account Number)  

 

Please know that if you decide to deposit this check, it can only be deposited via ATM deposits or a mail-in deposit. It cannot be processed via Deposit@Mobile.
