Can I pay for closing costs from USAA checking?

Hello,

I'm scheduled for a December 31, 2018 closing on the house I'm building.

Can I do a wire transfer from my USAA checking account to a title company to pay for closing costs?  Or does USAA require me to call up and request a cashier's check that is then sent to me in the mail (something I really don't want to do)?

Thanks.

@aikidoka82, yes you can do a wire transfer from your USAA checking account. You would first want to check with your title company to get a copy of their wire instructions, then call 24-48 hours prior to your closing date to set up the wire. You can reach the wire department by calling 800-531-USAA (8722). This link will give you more information on what is needed to set up the wire.
