Are my accounts insured by FDIC and if so, is there a limit?

@BGunn, Great question. The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) provides insurance that covers the balances of your accounts with USAA Federal Savings Bank and other FDIC-insured institutions. FDIC deposit insurance is set at $250,000 per depositor. Additional coverage depends on the type of accounts you have.

For detailed information, please visit the FDIC's Web site at www2.fdic.gov/edie/ and use their electronic deposit insurance estimator to help you calculate the amount of coverage you have for all your FDIC-insured accounts.

Hope this helps! Have a great one!
